For the correct use of both our REV'IT! Avertum and REV'IT! Avertum Street airbags it is important to understand that a correct fitting of the garment(s) is essential. This applies to both the airbag itself and the REV'IT! jacket or suit you might be wearing over or under the airbag.
REV’IT! Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag (FPG061)
The Avertum Tech-Air airbag is designed to be worn underneath your REV’IT! jacket or suit. To ensure safe and effective deployment, the outer garment must allow sufficient room.
Before use, verify that your REV’IT! jacket or suit is compatible with the Avertum Tech-Air airbag. The product page indicates whether the garment should be worn true to size or one size up.

Consult the size guide on the product page of your REV’IT! jacket or suit and follow the sizing recommendation based on the specified fit: true to size or one size up.
Note: Not all REV’IT! jackets and suits introduced prior to the launch of the Avertum airbag in Fall/Winter 2023 are backwards compatible. Compatibility information is not available for non-REV’IT! jackets and suits.
REV’IT! Avertum Street Tech-Air® / Avertum Street Tech-Air® Ladies (FPG070 / FPG075)
The Avertum Street Tech-Air airbag can be worn either over or under your REV’IT! jacket or suit. Separate size guides are available for men and women. The men’s size guide can be found here, and the ladies’ size guide here. Both are also available at the bottom of this page.
When wearing the Avertum Street Tech-Air airbag over your REV’IT! jacket or suit, choose the same size as your outer garment. For example, if you wear a size L jacket, select a size L airbag.
When wearing the airbag underneath your REV’IT! jacket or suit, follow the instructions in the size guide or product manual. These provide guidance on determining the correct jacket or suit size to wear over the airbag.
