Below, we outline what is excluded from our warranty to help you better understand the limits of coverage and ensure you get the most out of your REV'IT! gear.
What is not covered by REV'IT!’s warranty?
- Normal wear and tear*, damage
- Improper handling of the garment
- Negligence or improper care of the product
- Incorrect maintenance (e.g., failure to follow washing instructions)
- Damage resulting from crashes, scrapes, punctures, falls, or accidents
- Damage caused by alterations or repairs made by unauthorized individuals
- Damage caused by external factors/events beyond REV'IT!’s control (e.g., natural disasters)
- Any modifications made to the product
- Personal subjective evaluations such as comfort and fit
- Damage from prolonged exposure to light (e.g., color fading) and/or heat sources
*What constitutes normal wear and tear? Normal wear and tear refers to the inevitable aging of the product from regular use. Regardless of how carefully the product is treated, it will show signs of wear over time. Examples of normal wear and tear (which are not covered by the 2-year warranty) include marks from rubbing against motorcycle parts, general deterioration of materials and fabrics from repetitive use, and fading of color.
